Through Kentucky Waterways Alliance’s documentary, River Cowboys, you will experience the beauty of Kentucky’s Red River Gorge and witness the heroic efforts of the “river cowboys” to keep Kentucky’s Red River free of illegally dumped tires and trash. The film documents the history of the Upper Red River Cleanup, how tire dumping issues impact the health of waterways across the nation, and offers some possible solutions. This short but powerful 12-minute documentary will be followed by discussion. The film was produced in partnership with Friends of Red River & Wilkinson Visual.

Free, but registration required. Donations accepted at the door to benefit Kentucky Waterways Alliance.

Free refreshments provided by our sponsors and hosts. Donations will also be accepted for refreshments. All donations will go to KWA and FORR.
