RRG Chamber Ribbon Cutting for solar/ev chargers at RRG Visitor Center

Come join the Red River Gorge Chamber of Commerce as they do a ribbon cutting for the Powell County Tourism Commission at the Red River Gorge Visitor Center for their newly installed solar panels and 2 EV Chargers! This install also marks the 100th solar install for Mountain Association!

Powell County Tourism has become the FIRST and only tourism commission in the entire state to become NET ZERO in terms of energy consumption! This marks a huge milestone in the tourism industry and we are super proud of this achievement.

This wouldn’t have been possible without the help of Mountain Association and Appalachian Energyworks!

Lunch, Drinks, Cookies, and other refreshments will be available for all! This is open to the public and all are welcome!
